The Cisco.com Design System

Cisco invested in a large-scale effort to rebrand the corporate website with a new “digital personality.”

I was one of 3 designers on the Cisco.com design team that created design system components and responsive website section layouts for multiple desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes.

User Research and User Personas

A colleague and I interviewed 17 Cisco employees across several teams that use the Cisco.com design system. This included digital strategists, marketing managers, designers, and content strategists.

I analyzed and consolidated the key findings from the interviews and created user personas (below are two of four).

Form Component Designs

I designed 15+ UI form components including input fields, dropdowns, sliders, radio buttons, and more for both light and dark palettes.

Page Templates

I designed various page templates and reusable components for Cisco core pages, and adapted them for responsive design.
